The 2019 Telegraph Hill Festival Community Production is Little Shop of Horrors.
Four shows over two days at St Catherine’s Church – Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March 2019 – will bring to life a kitsch cult classic re-imagined in 80s LA (the real-life locale of Skid Row).
The fortunes of our cast of down-trodden mis-fits appear to take a turn for the better when our hero, flower shop assistant Seymour, comes across a ‘strange and interesting’ plant and is transformed overnight from super-geek to celebrated botanical genius …
But just how much is Seymour prepared to sacrifice for this newfound fame and to win the heart of sweet, but troubled, Audrey?
Will he manage to extract himself from this Faustian pact, or will the insatiable plant succeed in its craving for world domination?
Packed full of deliciously dark humour and powered by an irrepressible Motown-inspired score – prepare yourselves for a monstrously magical show!
Concession prices are shown in brackets and apply to full time students, under 18’s, or those in receipt of welfare/pension benefits.
